Gaming To A Better World

Jane McGonigal will be at NEIU this week discussing her book “Reality Is Broken”. (The event is free, by the way! But better get there early if you want a seat!) Jane is a game designer and is now doing research on gaming for the Institute For The Future located in Palo Alto, CA. Her proposition is that gaming is the answer to how to better teach our young people today and get them working on solving our problems. It’s a fascinating proposition.
